A Momentous Day for GMB Members at Carntyne Transport

Following months of rigorous negotiations and a steadfast commitment to advancing the rights of our GMB members, we are thrilled to announce a significant milestone. David Patterson, Director of Carntyne Transport, signed our recognition agreement on Monday, the 22nd of April.

John McCartney, Regional Organiser for GMB, the union said, "This is a historic day for GMB the union and for our Carntyne Transport membership. This day has been realised through the diligent and dedicated efforts of all involved, particularly our shop stewards.”

McCartney further added, “The cornerstone has now been laid for us to initiate and advance collective negotiations; we look forward to constructive engagement and fundamentally championing the cause and needs of our membership”
